Golf Practice Tips to Apply Every Time

Any golf pro will tell you that you should incorporate a regular, but flexible set of golf practice routines into your golf practice sessions.  Here are a few golf practice tips and golf practice advice you can apply every time you hit the range!

Golf Practice Routines Mindset

1.Practice with focus—define exactly what you want to get out of your practice routines before you practice.
2.To lower your golf scores, devote half or more of practice routine time to short game (pitching, bunkers, chipping and putting).
3.Have a different mindset when you play vs. when you practice.  When you practice, focus on golf fundamentals and ingraining the proper golf swing movements in all phases of your game, when you play the game, resist analysis and focus only on the target of your next shot.

Develop Consistent Practice Routines Plan

To develop consistency in your golf swing, you should also be consistent with your golf practice routines and stick to a consistent overall golf practice routine plan with flexibility built into the routine to accommodate problem areas or other targeted areas of your golf game.  Here is a sample golf practice routine:

1.Start with a pre-swing warm up including light stretching and tempo drills.
2.Spend a few minutes to rehearse and instill the key positions of your full golf swing in slow motion from backswing and top of backswing to impact, release and finish positions.  Practice these golf swing positions at various speeds until you have a nice fluid swing that feels natural.
3.Set up an alignment station to ensure your golf shots are on target.
4.Loosen up by performing short pitch golf shots and chip golf shots.
5.Practice your full swing mechanics with select golf practice drills for four shots to help install the fundamentals of the golf swing.
6.Then, for the next four shots, carry out your normal golf swing emphasizing a smooth, fluid motion.
7.Continue alternating between four practice shots (with focus on drills and mechanics) and four shots for the fluid swing.

Golf Swing Lessons to Improve your Golf Game

How should beginner golfers choose and participate in golf lessons to develop solid golf fundamentals?  This article focuses on how beginner golfers should find and participate in golf lessons including getting ready for golf lessons, choosing the right golf instructor and getting the most out of your golf lessons.

1.First, identify your golf goals.  Do you simply want to want to be a “decent” golfer and have fun outdoors?  Or do you want to develop a solid golf game and shoot in the 80’s on a consistent basis? Do you anticipate playing only a few times per year?  Or do you see yourself adopting golf as a lifestyle and playing every weekend?

2.Second, what is your time availability to participate in golf lessons?  Can you commit 5 hours per week to your game or only a few hours per month?

3.Third, once you have identified your golf goals, you should find the right golf teaching professional that can help you achieve your goals.  A good golf pro should offer golf lessons tailored to your goals considering your time and budget.  The internet is a wonderful tool to find a good golf teaching professional.  Or you can simply talk to your friends or local golf course and seek their recommendations.  When evaluating golf pro teaching professionals, ask them about their teaching style and approach.  Start out with a few lessons to gauge the degree of fit between the teaching pro’s style and your goals before signing up for a package of golf swing lessons.

4.Once you have found a teaching pro you are comfortable with, become a good student and focus on only one or two areas of development at a time. Between golf lessons, it is critical that you practice those one or two areas, improve them and work on the next stage of development in future golf lessons

Remember, that golf takes a little time to learn and you need to be patient to develop the fundamentals one step at a time.  Over time, the golf lessons you have applied will all work and flow together seamlessly!

Use these lessons in your daily golf practice routine and then see how soon you can improve your golf swing.

How to choose golf training aids to fit your needs and budget

Golf training aids can help you accelerate your development. To choose the right golf training aids to help you more rapidly address any golf swing issues, you should first speak to your golf teaching pro and receive his or her thoughts on the best golf training aids to fit your needs and budget.  There are literally thousands of golf training aids available on the market, so choose a relatively simple, but highly regarded golf training aid that fits your budget.

To also help you find the right golf training aids for your budget, here is a quick golf training aid checklist.  Working with your golf professional, use this golf training aid checklist to help identify the right golf training aids for your needs.

Golf Training Aid Checklist

1.First, it is critical to understand your most pressing needs and areas of improvement.  Don’t try to fix too many issues at the same time, but concentrate on your top issue.  Is it your golf slice, short game or driving accuracy?  What issue is causing the most problems with your game and your score?

2.It is also helpful to look at the patterns of your golf swing faults.  Do you always have a tendency to hit the golf ball left but cannot figure out why?  Perhaps your fundamentals are sound, but your golf grip is too strong.

3.We also recommend you video tape your swing and actually compare it to a “model” golf swing.  This will give you great insights into what is causing your golf swing issues.

4.Before purchasing a golf training aid, research “free” ways to address the problem area such as adjusting your grip and/or performing different golf practice drills with tees and clubs.

5.If you decide that purchasing golf training aids is the answer, do some Internet research and check out the reviews of various golf training aids you are evaluating.  Finally, talk to your teaching Pro and see if he or she is familiar with the golf training aid you are considering or would recommend an alternative golf training aid.

I hope above mention checklist to select most effective training aids will help you to resolve your golf problems.

Golf Practice Drills for your Full Swing and Short Game

Golf practice drills really help to build and instill key golf swing fundamentals. Here are a few of our top golf practice drills that emphasize various aspects of the full swing and short game.

Full Swing Backswing: Backswing Synchronization Drill

BENEFITS: This golf practice drill synchronizes hands, arms, torso, shoulders and hips in backswing and helps establish proper body rotation, rhythm and tempo.
1.    Take a longer club. Set up with butt of club in center of chest.
2.    Extend arms and grip the club down the shaft.
3.    Slowly take backswing to hip level with club head, hands, arms, torso, shoulders and hips synchronized.
4.    Return to starting position and repeat drill to ingrain feeling of synchronized turn in backswing.

Full Swing Downswing: Pause and Go Drill

BENEFITS: This golf practice drill helps encourage complete backswing and aids transition from backswing to downswing.

1.    Be sure to perform this golf practice drill at half-speed and pause at key checkpoints.
2.    Tee up ball, make full backswing and pause at top of backswing for 2 seconds.
3.    Check that you have a full shoulder turn (90°); hip turn (30 to 45°); your left arm is straight; and that 80% of weight is on inside of right foot.
4.    Keep your right knee flexed.
5.    Initiate downswing by shifting weight left which leads the hips, arms and shoulders to unwind through impact.
6.    Swing to finish position.

Putting Distance Control: "Feel Drill" Practice Drill

BENEFITS: This golf practice drill improves putting distance control, touch, feel and accuracy.

1.    Perform golf practice drill on putting green with 15 balls.
2.    Initiate drill with 30 foot putts, then shorter, longer, uphill and downhill putts.
3.    Identify target line and set up for putting stroke.  Then, turn head and look at the target.
4.    Execute putt while looking at target throughout stroke ensuring good putting form.
5.    Conduct “feel drill” for each target. Transfer feel to normal putting stroke (eyes over ball).
6.    Pre-round, conduct this golf practice drill for 5 to 10 minutes to “set the feel” of a particular course’s putting greens.

Implement all the practice drills in your daily practice routine because these tips definitely lower your golf score.

Golf Fixes Tips for the Slice, Shank and the Thin Shot

Golfers always experience different type of golf swing fault as they play the game of golf on the golf course.  The trick is to quickly identify the problem and fix the swing fault to help save your golf score.  We have mention few most occurred golf swing faults and fixes to address them.

Quick Golf Fixes for the Golf Slice

The slice is a shot that starts left, but finishes right of target. Here are a few tips and quick fixes to fix your golf slice.

1. Check your body alignment and ensure it is parallel with your target line.  If your body is aligned left of the target, you are likely to slice.
2. Check you swing path by doing a few slow motion golf swings.  Does it travel slightly from the inside to the outside in the downswing or from the outside to the inside?  If it is the latter, you are swinging “over the top” and increasing your chances of slicing the ball.
3. Check you clubface position at “impact.”  Is it square, open or closed?  It should be square.
4. Finally, check your grip and ensure it is in a “neutral” position (which promotes a square clubface at impact).

Quick Golf Fixes for “Shank” Golf Shots

A “shank” occurs when the golf ball strikes hosel of club and golf ball flies viciously to the right.  Here are a few quick golf fixes to fix your shank shot problem.

1. To prevent a shank, make sure you have no tension in your swing!  Tension is big cause of shank.
2. Also check that you do not have too much weight on toes during the downswing which promotes a heel to hosel strike.
3. Check you swing path.  If you are trying to hit the golf ball too hard, you will have a tendency to have an excessive out to in swing path which also promotes a heel to hosel strike.

Quick Golf Fixes for “Thin” Golf Shots

A “thin golf shot” occurs when the leading edge of the club strikes the equator of the golf ball.  Here are a few quick golf fixes to fix your thin golf shot problem.

1. Check your tension.  If you have too much tension in your golf grip and/or you are trying too hard to “help” the golf ball get airborne (resulting in a “flippy” wrist), then you will likely hit the golf ball thin. air (wrist flip).
2. Check your address position and ensure that your hands are not behind the golf ball
3. Also, check that the golf ball is too far back in your stance.

How to get good golf putting instructions

There are hundreds of different golf instructions magazines, books, and websites out there.  So what do you do if you simply want general, proven golf instructions to learn the basics of golf?

First off, beware of golf instructions books that provide “magic solutions” or “new golf techniques” that go against solid, proven fundamentals.
Second, look for golf instructions books or guides that are simple to understand and have great visuals to help you absorb and learn the golf instructions quickly.

Good golf instructions references should cover the following:

1. Golf swing fundamentals including ball position, set up, backswing, downswing and weight transfer.
2. How to set up and execute the various golf shots you will encounter on the course.
3. The fundamental phases of the game including driving the ball, iron play, short game, putting, sand shots and specialty shots.
4. Golf practice drills
5. Golf practice routines.

Once you get a solid feel of basic golf instructions, you should choose a good golf pro to help you with your swing.  If you go the “do it yourself” route, then go to a driving range and simply start hitting some short shots golf shots getting a feel for the basics of the golf swing.  Don’t worry about distance or working through all of your clubs, but concentrate on one club, for example a 7-iron and start hitting some very short shots to try to get a general feeling for the swing. Your goal should not be hitting the golf ball a far distance, but solely on getting the ball airborne and straight consistently.

Once you start hitting your golf shots consistently with your 7-iron, start to work with your other clubs including the wedges, long irons and woods.

Reference your chosen golf instructions reference to guide you through the set up, ball position and swing for these other clubs and always focus on developing solid golf swing fundamentals rather than distance.

When you feel comfortable, play some initial rounds ideally on an easy course.  Do not get bogged down too much in mechanics or your score when you play, but focus on getting the ball airborne and straight toward your target.  Keep track of your progress regularly, noting what is working and not working and go back to your chosen golf instructions references to help you fix swing faults (e.g., golf slices, fat golf shots, etc.).

Keep a positive attitude and keep practicing!  Soon, you will get that “aha” feeling and you will be hooked to golf for life!

Golf Short Game Plays Major Role in your Golf Score

Your golf short game plays a major role in your golf score. It is estimated that sixty percent or more of your score comes from your golf short game.  So the better you pitch and chip the ball, the quicker you will see your golf scores drop.

Here are some solid golf short game tips and golf practice drills to accelerate the development of your golf short game.

Golf Short Game Tip One: Chipping Ladder Drill

This golf short game tip helps aid chipping distance control.

1.Start ten feet from the putting surface fringe and place tees at two-foot intervals up to cup.
2.From the fringe, chip to the first tee, then continue chipping to the subsequent tees varying the clubs you use for chipping as well as the chipping distances.

Golf Short Game Tip Two: Chip to Target Drill

This golf short game tip helps aid chipping accuracy.

1.Place one or more targets (e.g., towel, hoop) on green between you and cup.
2.From the fringe, land your chip shots within the targets; vary placement of the targets.

Golf Short Game Tip Three: Pitch Shot Contact Drill

This golf short game tip encourages a downward blow on the golf ball for solid pitch shots.

1.Place two tees, two inches behind the golf ball with only the top of the tees visible.
2.Take a downward blow on ball making crisp contact while avoiding hitting the tees.

Golf Short Game Tip Four: Pitch to Target Drill

This golf short game tip helps with golf pitch shot accuracy.

1.Place four or more targets on your practice area at various distances ranging from twenty to sixty yards away.
2.Take your golf pitch shot setup.  Pitch balls to each target using your normal golf pitch shot club.
3.Hit several shots in a row for each target while making note of the backswing length you need to hit each golf ball successfully to each marker.  For example, note if you bring your backswing back a quarter of the way to hit a 30 yard pitch shot, halfway back to hit a 50 yard pitch shot or three quarters back for a 60 yard pitch shot.

What’s an Average Score in Golf Game?

Golfers often wonder what is an “average” or “decent” golf score in golf.  Well, I bet you would be very surprised to learn that that average golf score for the vast majority of golfers (about 85%) is still over 100, as it has been for the last 30 years!

But if you are talking about aspirational golf scores, most golfers would be very happy if they could shoot in the “80’s” on a consistent basis.  Though it may not sound like a big deal, most golfers never do!

So how do you become a consistent “80’s” golfer?

First of all, spend less time at the driving range working on your full swing and spend more time working on your golf short game, especially putting.  It is estimated that 60% or more of your golf score is made up of your short game shots (or shots 100 yards and in to the hole).  Yes, driving the ball in the fairway is important.  However, any pro will tell you that the short game is the secret to lower golf scores.

Second, develop a solid practice routine that not only incorporates all aspects of your golf game, but devotes half or more of your practice routine on the short game. For example, you could start your practice routine with a few chip shots and pitch shots, then work your way through your irons.  Then you could devote some time to pitching and chipping, then work your way through your woods.  You can then devote the remainder of your practice time on putting and a few “up and down” practice games.  If you practice efficiently, you can basically hit on all aspects of your game in 30 minutes to an hour.

Finally, to really lower your golf score, identify your top 1 or 2 weaknesses and focus on that weakness for a portion of your golf practice routine.  Incorporate a few practice drills to fix that weakness and alternate between the practice drill and a smooth fluid swing to instill the movements from the practice drill into your swing.

Key Golf Swing Tips to Help Get you Ready

We have compiled instant key golf swing tips to help get you ready for the coming golf season.  Practice or simulate these golf swing tips in practice at home or on the range to help accelerate your development.

Golf Swing Setup

1. Get into an athletic, balanced position.
2. Have your body weight in the middle of your feet.
3. Tilt upper body from the hips about thirty degrees.
4. Bend your knees slightly
5. Keep a straight back and lift your chin off your chest.
6. Simply let your arms hang loosely.

Golf Swing Backswing

1. Move your body, arms and club as one unit while shifting your body weight to the inside of your back leg. Keep your back leg knee slightly bent and in the same position as you shift your weight back.
2. As you rotate back and your hands approach waist level, hinge your wrists.
3. Keep a straight (but not stiff) left arm as you rotate back.
4. At the top of your backswing, your club face should be square to your forearm, your shoulders should be turned about ninety degrees, your hips should be turned thirty to forty-five degrees and your elbows should be level.
5. Finally, at the top of your backswing, check that your club shaft is parallel to your target line.

Golf Swing Downswing

1. Once you are at the top of your backswing, your first movement of your golf swing downswing is to shift your body weight toward your front leg.
2. Once you have shifted your weight to your front leg, the rest of your body follows closely behind – hips, upper body, and club – through ball impact.
3. Immediately after ball impact, “release” the golf club by unhinging your wrists and turn your body through the golf shot toward your target.  Extend your club and arms down your target line toward your target.
4. Rotate through to the finish position until your belt buckle faces your target.
5. When you have completed your golf swing, check that the majority of your body weight is on your front leg with your back foot up on its toes.

Golf Pitching Tips to Implement in your Game

Over sixty percent of your golf score can be attributed to the short game.  So, the degree that you can successfully execute the golf pitching shot is critical to a solid golf short game and improving your score.  To help you get the most out of your short game on or off the course, here are some critical golf pitching tips to accelerate your development. Implement below given pitching shot tips in your daily golf practice routine to accelerate your development and rapidly lower your score.

Golf Pitching Shot: Setup and Execution

When you are ten to seventy yards from the hole, the “golf pitching shot” is probably your best option.

1. The golf pitching shot spends more time in the air than on the ground, so use a more lofted club such as a sand wedge (54 to 58 degrees loft) or lob wedge (59 to 62 degrees loft).
2. Slightly open your golf stance.  Ensure you are positioned so that the golf ball lies slightly forward from the middle.
3. Place your weight so that sixty percent of your weight is on your left foot and forty percent is on your right foot. Keep this weight distribution throughout the golf pitching shot.
4. Move your hands down the golf grip and position them in front of the ball.  Grip the club slightly firmer in the golf pitching shot than you would for a normal golf shot.
5. Keep a steady pace and swing your torso back and through the golf pitching shot.
6. To control your distance, use the 7-8-9 golf pitching shot method where you swing your straight left arm back to the particular “hours” of a clock to achieve consistent distance control.  For example, if you swing your left arm back to the “7-o’clock” position and hit the ball 30 yards, then your 7 o’clock shot is for 30 yard golf pitching shots.  Practice this method until you know your distance for “7 o’clock,” “8 o’clock” and “9 o’clock” shots.

I hope above given useful golf pitching shot suggestions will remove your frustration and enhance your golf shot playing skills. Everything is position, timing and gripping, focus on all these things and lower your golf score.

Advanced Golf Tips- Improve your Golf Shot

Ever play a good round of golf only to be confused by a more advanced golf shot like hitting over or under a tree, playing out of pine needles or hitting off of hardpan?  If so, here are a few useful suggestions to set up correctly for these advanced shots which will inevitably crop up every so often during your round. All the golf tips are tested and lower your golf score when you hit advanced golf shot.

Advanced Golf Tip: Hitting Over a Tree

1. Choose a longer club (i.e., use a “6 iron” for a shot you would normally use a “7 iron” for).
2. Position your body so that that ball is farther ahead in your stance.
3. Slightly open your stance.
4. Open your clubface slightly.
5. Take normal swing.

Advanced Golf Tip: Hitting Under a Tree

1. Use lower lofted club (i.e., “5 iron”).
2. Place ball back in stance.
3. Place more weight on front foot.
4. Slightly close club face.
5. Take a ¾ backswing.
6. Keep left arm straight and hands in front of clubface on downswing.

Advanced Golf Tip: Hitting Out of Pine Needles

1. Brush away needles in area of stance (USGA rules allow this).
2. If ball is on top of pine needles, use lofted club, position ball forward in stance, use normal swing.
3. If ball is on ground, position ball back in stance and take sweeping downswing into ball.
4. Balance weight evenly across both feet.

Advanced Golf Tip: Hitting the Ball off of Hardpan

1. Position your body so that the golf ball is closer to left heel.  This facilitates “clipping” the ball off of hardpan without creating a divot.
2. Use more golf club than normal allowing for shorter backswing.
3. Hit down into the ball with a smooth, fluid swing while concentrating on solid ball contact.

Above given advanced golf shot tips will help you if all the suggestion you add in your daily golf practice routine because without regular practice you can not lower your golf score. Believe me only right suggestions and regular practice can do the magic.

Successful Tips to Hit a Golf Draw Shot

A golf draw shot is an ideal golf swing shot for many golfers as it often helps them get more distance and serves as a nifty weapon to help curve your golf shot around an obstacle to your target.

Basically, a golf draw shot slowly curves from right to left toward your target.  The opposite of a draw shot is a “fade” which occurs when your shot curves slowly from left to right.

The differences between a draw shot and a fade were great, draw shots averaged 233 yards in carry and roll, the fades only 216. Therefore it is possible for you to gain at least 17 yards in distance on a fade.

To hit an “intentional” draw shot, here are a few golf tips to set up and execute the golf draw shot every time you play.

1. Align your body slightly to the right of your target.  A good way to do this is align parallel to your target like you normally do with your golf shots, then rotate your body clockwise about five degrees so that you are aligned just right of the target. This drill will help you to setup and execute your draw shot perfectly.
2. Assume a stronger golf grip which encourages a little bit more of a “closed” club face.  To assume a stronger golf grip, rotate your hands on the grip toward the right.  Your club face should now be slightly closed which helps promote more of a “right to left” ball flight. It’s means proper golf gripping is required.
3. To properly hit the golf draw shot, it is important to have more of a loose grip which promotes more “release” so loosen your grip slightly for a fluid “release” through the golf draw shot.
4. The final step is very critical.  Though your body line is just right of the target, when you assume your setup position, it is important to aim your clubface directly at the target AND execute your swing along your body line.  In other words, swing as you normally do because your body position, grip and clubface position will work together to produce the golf draw shot. When all these things work perfectly together you are able to hit a golf draw shot.

Hopefully these golf instruction will help you to enhance your golf skills and motivate you to hit the draw shot in a perfect way.

How to start playing golf if you are a beginner

The game of golf is a wonderful sport that you can play for a lifetime.  But if you are an absolute beginner, how do you begin to start playing golf?

First of all, it is not recommended to go out and spend a lot of money on expensive golf clubs.  Though properly fitted and researched golf clubs can bring about huge improvements in your game, we suggest you do that at a later time when you have a good idea what you are looking for.  So in the beginning, borrow some friends or get some used clubs.  In fact, all you need when you first start out is few clubs and we recommend a 7 iron, 8 iron and/or a 9 iron.

Next, really focus on learning the golf fundamentals.  Do not rush to an 18-hole course. Let the driving range be your best friend.  Though it is highly recommended that you learn how to play golf first with a PGA licensed golf instructor, it is not a bad idea to purchase a golf book or two to first familiarize yourself with the game and start learning the fundamentals.  That way, you can go into your subsequent golf lessons with a clue about what is going on.

If you want to go the do-it-yourself route as you learning how to play golf, here is a decent agenda:

1. Buy a credible golf instructional references focused on golf fundamentals
2. Get a few cheap golf clubs – 7, 8 and/or 9 iron…this is your starter set to play golf.
3. Start of at a driving range with a focus of simply getting the ball airborne, then hitting the golf ball relatively straight – do not worry about distance for some time.  For example, work on hitting consistently straight chip and pitch shots 5 to 20 yards.  Once you can hit 10 shots in a row straight for 20 yards, work on hitting the golf ball longer.

1. Start learning the basics of how to play golf including other elements of the game with a focus on short game and putting.
2. When you are ready and have an initial understanding of how to play golf, then take some lessons from a PGA teaching professional.

You apply these suggestions on your golf game and surely you start hitting the ball in the right hole. Regular golf practice is the key to this game because when you start facing problem with your golf swing only regular golf practice routine can help you to resolve the swing problem and lower your golf score.

Golf Slice Cure- Easy Steps to Resolve the Problem

One of the most common golf flight faults encountered by golfers is to “slice” the golf ball.  To identify if you are slicing the golf ball, check out your ball flight.  For right handed golfers, a golf slice occurs when the golf ball starts left of the target and then curves right of the target (often far right of the target)!

Here are several of our favorite golf slice practice drills to use on the driving range to help cure your golf slice instantly!

Golf Slice Tee Drill

Benefits

Helps corrects slices caused by OUT-IN swings and encourages proper IN-SQUARE-IN swing path.

Steps

1. Place two tees and a golf ball right to left diagonally (think of tic tac toe) with a tee in the upper right quadrant, your golf ball in the middle and another tee in the lower left quadrant.  Make sure to leave about four inches of spacing from each tee to the golf ball.
2. Assume normal setup and ball position with 7-iron.
3. Your goal is to hit the ball crisply without hitting either of the tees.

This golf slice drill is helpful because it forces you to take the proper IN-SQUARE-IN swing path to impact.  A common cause of the golf slice is to cut across the golf ball with an OUT-TO-IN golf swing (also known as “over the top”) which can put clockwise spin on the ball and send the ball left to right.  With the “golf slice tee drill” if you swing OUT-TO-IN you will hit the first and/or second tee.

Golf Slice "Right Foot Back"

Benefits

This golf slice drill helps correct also encourages the proper IN-SQUARE-IN swing path.

Steps

1. Use a 7-iron and a teed up golf ball and perform this golf practice drill at half speed.
2. Take narrow stance, then place your right foot back one foot.
3. Make sure to swing along IN – TO – SQUARE – TO – IN wing path and make solid ball contact.
4. As you begin to hit solid golf shots, bring your right foot back even with your left foot and hit golf shots without the tee.

Now you don’t miss the opportunity to enhance your confidence on the golf course. Bring these drills in your daily practice routines to lower your golf handicap.

Golf Fundamental for Grip, Shot Setup and Ball Position

No matter how long you have played golf, it is always helpful to review the core golf fundamentals of the golf swing.  Below are proven golf fundamentals for the golf grip, shot set up and golf ball position.  These golf fundamentals are for right handed golfers.

Grip Golf Fundamentals

The majority of golfers use the “Vardon Overlap” grip.  Below are the golf fundamentals for this grip:

1. With your fingers straight and together and palms facing you, take your right hand little finger and place it between the notch formed in between your left hand index and middle finger.
2. Fold your hands over grip of the club with the thumb of your left hand placed snugly in the lifeline of your right hand.
3. When looking down at your completed grip, check that the two knuckles of your left hand forefinger and middle finger are visible.  Also, look at the creases formed at the intersection of your thumbs and forefingers and ensure they point between the right side of your face and right shoulder.  These checks ensure you have a solid, neutral golf grip, one that is not too “weak” or “strong.”

Shot Setup Golf Fundamentals

Ball Position Golf Fundamentals

1. Driver: Set up with the golf ball about three inches forward (toward your target) from the center of your stance and in line with your left foot heel.
2. Fairway Woods, Hybrid and Long Irons: Set up with the golf ball about two inches forward (toward your target) from the center of your stance.
3. Middle irons (five to seven iron): Set up with the golf ball about one inch forward (toward your target) from the center of your stance.
4. Short irons (eight iron to wedges): Set up with the golf ball in the center of your stance.

Golf Get Into Brazil Because Of Olympic

Brazil has excellent golf greens in its top travel destinations. There are many golf clubs and greens in Sao Paulo district, more than in any other Brazilian state. It's easy to play golf once in place, even near Sao Paulo beach zones: Guaruja and Santos. But do you know the history and rencent development of golf in Brazil?

Golf made its debut at the second modern Olympics in Paris in 1900, but was dropped after the 1904 games in St. Louis. The sport was returned to the Olympic roster by an International Olympic Committee vote in 2009 that also guaranteed it a place in 2020, but its participation beyond that will largely depend on an IOC evaluation after the Rio Games.

Brazilian Olympic organizers and local officials are in the final process of choosing the course's location, and the decision may be announced within two months, before IOC officials arrive in Rio for an Olympic project and TaylorMade R7 CGB Max Fairway Wood review in late April.

Though it's possible an established private course could be renovated, it's likely a new course will be built in the Barra da Tijuca neighborhood of Rio, where most sports will be played during the Olympics, Pacheco said.

Officials want a public course to help boost the sport locally and develop it after the Olympics. Besides the course, organizers also want to build training academies and schools to develop golf professionals. Brazil has only one player in the U.S. PGA Tour, Alexandre Rocha.

Brazilian golf officials want to bring other high-profile events to the country ahead of the Olympics, and there is a chance for Mizuno JPX E-Metal Fairway Wood in the Presidents Cup will be played in Rio in 2015.

Local governments will handle the cost of building or revamping a course for the Olympic competition, which will consist of a 72-hole stroke-play event for men and women, with 60 players in each field. Golf officials have promised the IOC they will not stage any major championships on the dates of the Olympic tournament.

Though golf has grown in popularity in Brazil, it remains an elite sport in the football-mad nation, where there are fewer than 30,000 golfers and just over 100 courses. The only true public course is the nine-hole Japeri Golfe Clube in Rio.

There is hope the Olympics will change that, helping attract more courses and making the sport more popular, changing the perspective many Brazilians have about golf and u may want to know about Callaway New RAZR X Irons.

The Right Golf Swing

Friend, firstly can I be brutally honest with you;you'll never develop a swing like Tiger's. Or for that matter, Mickelson's, Els's, Daly's or Garcia's

To be frank, no matter how hard you try or how often you practice golf, odds are you'll NEVER be able to swing the club like the top tour pros. Why? Because, like most of us, you weren't born with their physical ability.

Besides, each of the big-money pros has a swing that's unique to his (or her) physique. It's hardwired into the DNA. That's how they got to be big-money pros.

Does that mean you'll never play better than you play right now? That you're doomed to be a duffer? The butt of countless jokes from your buddies? A study in frustration?

No! Nein! Nyet! Non!! No way! Because there's another, more important truth.

It doesn't matter if you can't copy Tiger - This program is going to help you develop a swing guaranteed to help you Play better golf than you ever thought possible in two short weeks or I'll send your money back.Actually, it's more than a swing. It's a whole System. But don't let that scare you. It's very simple. That's the beauty of it. And why I call it "The Simple Golf Swing System"

With the Simple Golf Swing System...

You'll hit straighter and further than you ever hit before.
You'll hit with greater distance and accuracy every time.
You'll hit more greens and get the ball consistently close to the pin.
You'll wonder what ever happened to that awful slice you used to have.
You'll gain a new outlook on golf with greater confidence in your game. Because you're armed with a proven system that actually works!

Learn the best golfing techniques from the start, so you don't have a golf swing like a cave man. Yes, I realize there's a lot of hype on the Internet and I don't blame you for being a little skeptical.More than 19,000 golfers in 36 countries on six continents swear our System fixed their swing problems once and for all.

Just what is this "Simple Golf Swing System"?
And how can it help my game?

Good question;.we've had the opportunity to watch a lot of top pros close up and to talk to them about the game. It was enough to convince us these guys have so much natural ability that it would be almost impossible for the average golfer to duplicate their techniques.

We've also found the same thing to be true with most teaching pros.It seems they either try to impose their techniques on their students (who lack their ability) or else they recognize this lack of ability and dumb down lessons.

In other words, they don't even try to teach the difficult stuff because the don't think their students can ever learn it. Now, please don't get me wrong. I've got nothing against teaching pros.

But we have seen a lot of golfers struggling because of the kind of instruction available to them. And decided to do something about it.

We have devoted a year to developing a bullet-proof swing that any golfer - regardless of ability - can learn quickly and easily. The result: The Simple Golf Swing System. We have put it all in one system that breaks it down into five simple steps every golfer can master in practically no time at all. And practically painlessly. (That "no pain, no gain" stuff has no place in my System.) What makes the System work so well is that you don't have to master all of it all at once. You get one part down and move on to the next. And in a much shorter time than you'd imagine.

In fact, you can learn the whole system in about three hours. And two weeks later, you'll be playing killer golf. That's not just a promise.

We guarantee it!

How our System Works.

In short, it's all about putting some backbone into your game. That means using your spine as an axis to keep you on the correct swing plane. The System works to keep all your swings consistent. And a consistent, correct swing is the secret to lowering your score. We'll also teach you the proper golf grip so you can add distance to every shot. The software will help you with your timing and club face alignment until the ball is flying straight as a laser beam every time you hit.

And that means you can say so long to your slice for good. As well as to some other bad habits that kept your ball off the greens. This is found in a step-by-step guide with easy-to-follow instructions and detailed photos

What the Simple Golf Swing System will do for you:

1. It will save you money.
The average pro charges around $100 an hour for lessons. And don't think you're going to get by with just one.So pretty soon, you're talking serious money. A painful subject in times like these. But...The entire Simple Golf Swing System can be yours for less than half of what one lesson costs. That's right. For about half of what a single lesson costs, you can own the complete System. I'll have more on that in a moment.

2. It will save you time.
If you're working with a pro, plan on devoting a big chunk of time to trying to master what he's telling you. (And remember what I said about the way most pros teach.)And if you're going to try to figure it all out by yourself, you're going to be spending a lot of time wondering if what you're doing is right and what you should be focusing on.

Listen, if you're like most of us, you don't have an unlimited amount of leisure time. Why spend any of it fretting and worrying instead of playing golf? With the System you can...Learn the perfect swing in just three hours. Then you can go out and do what you're supposed to be doing... enjoying yourself.

3. It will save your sanity.
You figure you've finally got your swing worked out and you're hitting pretty well. Then on your next drive, the ball heads straight for the trees like a wood-seeking missile. That's when the frustration kicks in. And before long, you're cursing yourself for ever taking up this #!!!!&##!!! game.

Who needs this aggravation? Golf is supposed to be fun.And it will be... Once you're playing the kind of golf you know you're capable of.That won't be long because...

You'll be playing the best golf of your life in just two weeks.

I want to get the Simple Golf Swing System into your hands right away. So I'm going to give you a little incentive to order now.

What kind of incentive? Well, how about...

And that's all on top of the Simple Golf Swing eBook and Special Video Presentation.

Easy Way to Fix your Golf Slice Shot

The golf slice fault is probably the most common golf swing fault for most golfers. A golf slice shot is a swing fault that occurs when your golf ball starts left of your target (for right handers) then curves to the right of your target.

Below, we provide a few key golf slice tips to fix your golf slice.

What Causes the Golf Slice Shot?

1.Poor alignment toward the target: For example, you could be aligned too far left of the target.
2.Too weak of a golf grip (in other words, your golf grip is rotated to the left of the grip from the neutral position). This can cause the club face to open and when you make contact with the ball, the ball shoots to the right.
3.Your club swing path is “out to in” or “over the top.” This action alone can cause the golf ball to go left, but when combined with an open club face, you can impart clockwise spin on the ball which causes the golf ball to start left, then spin far to the right.

How to Fix Golf Slice Shots

To fix your golf slice shot, follow these quick golf tips:

1.Align your body and golf stance parallel to the target.  To help with alignment, visualize standing on a rail line with your body standing on the closest rail and the golf ball is on the farther rail.
2.Check your grip and make sure it is neutral.  To check that you have a neutral grip, make sure you see only two knuckles (forefinger and middle finger) of your left hand and that the “V’s” formed from the creases of forefingers and thumbs of both hands point between right ear and right shoulder.
3.Take some practice swings in slow motion and check that your swingpath is not “over the top” or “out to in,” but straight down the target line toward your target.
4.Do some slow motion practice swings and check that the face of your club is “square” at impact.

Practice these golf slice fixes regularly.  Soon your golf slice fault will be a thing of the past!
